Welcome to Three Cat Education

Three Cat Education offers children and teens an opportunity to experience the world of theater and cabaret in a safe nurturing environment. Exploring musicals, plays, cabaret and show choir, our educational offerings teach kids the fundamentals of theater and performance as well as in venues throughout the Chicago area.
Theater Summer Camps
For the past two years, Three Cat Education has presented summer camps at the Skokie Theatre Music Foundation. This year, Three Cat Education is pleased to announce the expansion of our summer theater program into Chicago. We will be offering our theater summer camp programs in Lincoln Park, Rogers Park, and the North Shore. Past offerings included the regional theaterical premiere of “Cinderella” with music written by British Composer Ric Brutnall, “Let Me Entertain You!” a celebration of Broadway classics, “Broadway Rocks!” a celebration of the Broadway pop/classics, the student created play “Choose Your Own Fairytale Adventure!”, and the “Golly Gee Glee” show choir camp.
Fall and Spring Theater Productions
Three Cat Education has offered youth productions in both Fall and Spring at several locations around the Chicago. Past offerings have included “Cinderella” and “The Frog Princess” both original productions written by Three Cat staff members and featuring music by British musical composer Ric Brutnall.
Outreach
Community support is integral to the success of any youth theater education program. Whether you are interested in sponsoring our youth theater education programs, funding a scholarship for an future artist in need or looking for a partner to grow/strengthen a program in your neighborhood, Three Cat Education can work with you!
About the Three Cat Education Executive Director
Jacque Lueken received her BFA in Acting from Syracuse University and, upon graduation moved to Chicago to work with Steppenwolf Theatre Co as the Asst Coordinator for their summer acting intensive The School at Steppenwolf. Since being in the city, Jacque has worked in theatre education as a director, teaching artist and mentor with numerous companies in the Chicagoland area including American Theatre Co, Noble Fool Theatricals and Redmoon. Jacque is currently the Executive Director of Three Cat Education and a founding Collective Member of Ag47.
