Description

Join Sally, her animal friends, and the school of Olympus Academy as they navigate the ups and downs of fitting in. This production features original songs by British composer Ric Brutnall and results in final performances on Monday, August 26 at 2:00pm and 4:00pm at the City Auditorium in Valley City, North Dakota.

Theatre is both fun and educational, and teaches kids to think creatively and intuitively. Auditions are the first day of class, and each child’s individual talents are used to create a production that is uniquely theirs. Children must commit to the full session. “The Frog Princess” is directed by Jason Paul Smith.

Auditions: Tuesday, August 20 from 1pm to 4pm
Rehearsal: August 21 to 25 from 9:00am to 3:00pm
Performances: August 26 at 2pm & 4pm

To register, please visit  Valley City Parks & Rec or call 701-845-3294.

Audition Information

Students should prepare a simple song and a monologue for the audition.  The Frog Princess will include roles for non-singers and non-dancers as well as for those who want to sing and dance. The show will be crafted specifically for students who audition, and we take great care to make sure we have a place for all. Each child’s individual talents are used to create a production uniquely theirs.

Parent Testimonials:

“This was my boys’ first experience with an “acting” camp. They loved it, couldn’t wait to go each day, and were begging to go back for another week. Great for self confidence and so much fun.” – Sheri

“Thanks, Three Cat Education, for a great camp experience. My sons (who have vastly different interests) both enjoyed every minute of camp. They had a ton of fun with the theater/improv games and still play them at home. Your camp leaders are not only top notch professionals but also connected with the kids to make them feel special. Already looking forward to next summer!”  ~Carrie Bryn

“Our son loved the camp. After the final performance, he ran to me and asked whether we could sign him up for the next Three Cat camp. He was very disappointed when he heard that he would have to wait until the next year. He learned several interesting games in camp and wanted to play them at home all the time. We still play some of them, a month after the camp ended.” ~ Daniel’s Mom

“People who would like this camp are people who like comedy, fun teachers, and awesome theatre games”  ~Ada Grey.  Ada is a reviewer in Chicago and was featured in American Theater Magazine. http://adagrey.blogspot.com/

“This was Emma’s second Three Cat Camp. We travel pretty far to get there, but it’s so much better than similar camps we have found.”  ~ Emma’s mom

“My son has loved every one of the Three Cat Camps he’s attended. Not only does he have a blast, his comfort and skills in theater grow each time. The staff is warm, professional and amazing with kids. We love Three Cat!” ~ Shaunti

“This was my daughter’s favorite mini-camp this summer. She loved the staff and the other kids. We can’t wait to sign up for more classes and camps! ” ~Amy, Parent
