CAST ANNOUNCED FOR THE WORLD PREMIERE OF HOLIDAY STORIES
(Chicago, IL) Three Cat Productions presents the return of the holiday classic Holiday Stories: The Other Side of Christmas at the Chicago Park District’s Berger Park Coach House Theater at 6205 N. Sheridan Road (Edgewater by Granville el stop on Red Line). Nine playwrights explore what it means to be an outsider on the biggest, most commercial, and most televised event of the year! Join us for drama, wacky humor, adorable actors, and some truly transcendent four-part harmony that will chase away your “I Can’t Believe It’s the Holidays Again” blues.
The cast includes Salar Ardebili, Elya Faye Bottiger, Jeff Broitman, Jaime Coates, Christie Coran, Renee Lockett and Colin Reeves. Playwrights featured in Holiday Stories: The Other Side of Christmas included David Bald, Hope Hommersand, Susan Lieberman, Paul Moulton, Paul Pasulka, Lisa Scott, Fouad Teymour, Helen Valenta, and Joe Weintraub.
The play is directed by Jason Paul Smith, Three Cat Productions, Artistic Director. Resident Musical Director and Musical Arrangements by Roy Freeman. Stage Manager is Drew Durfee. Resident Assistant Stage Manager is Jess Koster. Resident Lighting and Set Designer is Pat Henderson.
Previews begin December 2. The show runs is December 4 – January 3. Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays at 7:30pm, Saturdays at 4:00pm AND 7:30pm and Sunday matinees at 3:00pm at the Berger Park Coach House Theater at 6205 N. Sheridan in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago. (No performances December 6, 13, 24, 25, 31, and January 1) Doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain. No late seating.
