Celebrate the Holidays with Rob Dorn and Three Cat Education at the Skokie Theatre

News |

Three Cat Productions celebrates the holiday season with two exciting programs at the Skokie Theater. On December 11, 2010 at 8:00pm, Chicago vocalist Rob Dorn will celebrate the holidays with “Wonderland: A Holiday Concert”. From December 27th to December 30th, Three Cat Education will be offering a “Winter Break Theater Camp” for kids of all ages.

Rob Dorn’s “Wonderland: A Holiday Concert” will pay tribute to early 60’s holiday nostalgia. With a special tribute to WGN’s Frazier Thomas, Dorn will share personal memories of growing up in Chicago. Rob Dorn will include songs from his CD aptly titled “Wonderland.” Songs in the show include “Holly Jolly Christmas”, “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch”, “Winter Wonderland” and more. Musicians will be guitarist John Behling, bassist Jim Cox, and percussionist Nick Christiansen.

Three Cat Education brings new excitement to the holiday season with it’s “Winter Break Theater Camp” from December 27th to December 30th from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Instructors Jacque Lueken (Executive Director of Three Cat Education) and Jason Paul Smith (Artistic Director of Three Cat Productions ) will help kids celebrate their holiday break with theatre games, acting, singing and dance geared toward themes in the holiday spirit. Kids can sign up for one or both sessions. Parents can register their children for partial day or full day sessions.

“Rob Dorn: Wonderland” will be happening on December 11th at 8:00pm at Skokie Theatre, 7924 N. Lincoln Avenue, Skokie, Illinois 60077. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. You can order tickets by calling 847-677-7761 or visit skokietheatre.com. To purchase “Rob Dorn: Wonderland”, please visit his website at www.robdorn.com.

Three Cat Education’s “Winter Break Theater Camp” will be held from December 27th-30th, 2010. Morning sessions run from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Afternoon sessions run from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
