Jay’s evolving artistic cosmopolitan journey led him to collaborate with some of the most respected theater companies in the Asian as well as dabble in film and television.
In Chicago, he has worked with Griffin Theater, Pride films and Plays, ASquared Theater, Prologue Theater, Shattered Globe among others and toured the U.S./ Canada in the lead role of the king in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King And I.
He earned a Masters degree in Film Directing at Columbia College Chicago and his thesis film Mahal made the rounds of international film festivals. He is also a teaching artist for Li’l Buds Theatre Company and Broadway BreakThru and beloved yoga instructor at Corepower. Love to Doug!
