Joanna P. Lind’s song “Wednesday in the Park” is featured in our new musical revue “Chicago Is!: A Hometown Musical Revue“.
Joanna P. Lind is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, poet, performer, and songwriter (registered with BMI). A Chicago native, Joanna has been part of the theatre community since childhood, both in front of and behind the curtain. Currently, she is a singer, drummer, songwriter, and arranger in The New Switcheroo, an emerging indie folk rock band that recently released their debut studio EP, Heartless Sky, which she co-produced. As a solo artist, Joanna is captivating, drawing the audience in through soaring melodies and powerful lyrics that feel personal but ring universal. One of her songs (“Blue”) is featured on the fundraising compilation album Anonymuse vol. 2 for anti-bullying organization The AnonymoUS Initiative. In March, Joanna participated in a service project for Jess Godwin’s Godwin Anthology, joining a group of singers to play jazz standards at a local retirement home. She also leads a writers’ group and runs Joanna’s Mostly Music Blog where she shares music she likes, concert experiences, industry news, and recommendations for documentaries and specials to watch. Thanks to Roy and Three Cat for bringing her song to life in this production.
